The KanexPro 4K Premium Seamless 4X1 HDMI Switch (SW-HDSCID4X1) is an automatic switcher for 4K HDMI devices. The unit automatically switches one of four HDMI inputs to a predefined or the last connected input whenever the currently active video signal is interrupted or whenever a higher-priority video signal is detected. The unit can embed analog audio to an HDMI signal and can extract the audio from either an input HDMI signal or the analog audio 3.5mm input. The SW-HDSCID4X1 can output an analog audio source on the HDMI output even when an HDMI source is not connected and enters sleep mode when no input is detected. Sleep mode can be programmed to show a blank screen, or it may also show a user selected image. The SW-HDSCID4X1 features a contact closure system that allows for remote switching overrides issued by a controller or press button switching system. The power built-in GUI allows for custom EDID management; copy, upload or download EDID profiles from connected devices, or priority input switch modes to ensure that the most important source always connects when it is needed.
