AVO-IP265HD-DEC 1080p60 H.265 AV over IP decoder: PoE, multicast, distributed matrix and video wall to 9×9 with RS-232 control over a standard 1G network.
Adds another display to an existing 1080p AV-over-IP system without touching the encoder side or the switch you already run. The decoder is a compact black metal endpoint that draws power over PoE (802.3af Class 3) from the network switch, so screens mounted where power is hard to reach need only a single Cat cable, and up to eight units rack into a single 1U. It is the right choice for signage and venue installs where display count, per-endpoint cost, and reach matter more than 4K resolution or KVM. Working over a standard managed 1G network, it receives H.265 or H.264 streams and drives an HDMI display in point-to-point, signal-distribution, multicast, distributed-matrix, or video-wall modes, scaling a canvas up to 9×9 without a fixed matrix chassis. Output scaling, EDID, and stream routing are configured from the built-in Web GUI or a Controller Box, and the unit is controllable over RS-232, TCP/IP, Web GUI, or Controller Box, with RS-232 pass-through and Guest mode reaching connected displays. Because every screen is simply another decoder added to an open switch port, expanding a system is an add-on rather than a chassis upgrade — the companion AVO-IP265HD-ENC encoder is sold separately.
