Adds visually lossless 4K60 4:4:4 sources to the standard 1G network you already have, so distribution scales one endpoint at a time instead of hitting the fixed port count of an HDMI matrix. The AVO-IPJP2KS-ENC is a slim metal encoder — 8.03" x 5.35" x 1.00" — that draws under 8W and powers from PoE (802.3af) on the same cable that carries its stream, so racks of source endpoints go in without local supplies and two units mount side by side in 1U. It is the entry, fixed-HDMI-source encoder in KanexPro's JPEG2000 range: the volume transmit endpoint for AV integrators who value reach, density, and cost-per-endpoint over 1G more than dual-LAN redundancy, GPIO contact control, or USB-C BYOD input. JPEG2000 compression is intra-frame and visually lossless, holding full HDMI 2.0b 18Gbps 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG passthrough where an H.264 backbone would soften fine text and UI content. Unicast and multicast feed point-to-point, matrix, and video-wall layouts up to 9x9 with intelligent class management, while an MJPEG substream gives control apps a live preview of every source. IR, RS-232, and CEC ride the same Ethernet for display control, an on-board 1G switch supports daisy-chaining, and license-activated Dante AV-A lets the same hardware join a networked-audio design without a hardware swap — the flexibility fixed-codec encoders at twice the price per endpoint do not offer.
