Eliminate the tradeoff between scalability and simplicity in multi-zone video distribution. The KanexPro FLEX-MF8X10 is a modular 4K 60Hz matrix chassis that routes up to 8 HDMI sources to 10 CAT-extended displays with independent per-output scaling. It takes the same input and output cards as the larger FLEX chassis (16x20, 24x36, 24x60). The matrix supports HDMI 2.0 at 18Gbps with HDCP 2.2, HDR, and full 4K60 4:4:4 color. Integrated video wall (up to 12 displays (1x12, 2x6, 3x4, 4x3, 6x2 or 12x1), up to 30 walls), quad view, EDID management, and CEC display control. CAT carries 4K60 up to 165ft (50m) and 1080p up to 197ft (60m). Cards and receivers are sold separately: the chassis ships empty. A full 8×10 is 1× FLEX-MF8X10, 1× FLEX-HDMI8IN input card, 1× output card (FLEX-CAT12OUT for CAT displays or FLEX-HDMI12OUT for HDMI displays) and one FLEX-CATRX receiver per CAT display.

- Does each output scale independently?
- Yes, each output has its own scaler.
- What is the max video wall?
- Up to 12 displays per wall (1x12, 2x6, 3x4, 4x3, 6x2 or 12x1), up to 30 walls.
- Does RelayAV control the FLEX-MF8X10?
- Yes. RelayAV, KanexPro's AV control app, controls every FLEX chassis: routing, presets, video walls, quad view and screen power. It also freezes or blacks out any output, shows a test pattern on an output, sets bezel compensation for each screen in a video wall, and sends custom HDMI-CEC commands to
- How many control systems can run the FLEX-MF8X10 at once?
- Three over the network: Telnet port 23 and control ports 5001 and 5002 each take one controller, alongside RS-232 (115200, 8, N, 1), the Web GUI and the touch panel. A change made from one shows on all of them.
- What receiver needed?
- FLEX-CATRX, PoC-powered from matrix.
- What cabling?
- It depends on the cards you fit, since the chassis ships empty. Inputs are HDMI, on a FLEX-HDMI8IN card. Outputs are either HDMI from a FLEX-HDMI12OUT card, or one CAT cable from a FLEX-CAT12OUT card to a FLEX-CATRX receiver at each display. The FLEX-CATRX calls for CAT6/CAT6a at 4K60 and CAT5e/CAT6

- Check CAT cable, EDID settings, and output stream enable.

- Verify wall group, output mapping, and starting port.
