Delivers centralized management of SDVoE AV over IP systems — with zero-frame latency matrix switching, 9×9 video wall, 25-window multi-view, and USB KVM from a browser-based web GUI. The AVO-IPCTL-SDV connects to the same 10G managed switch as SDVoE encoders and decoders, auto-discovers all endpoints, and provides full system control of video routing, audio, RS-232, KVM, GPIO, and IR automation. Dual-network ports isolate AV multicast from the IT control network. Questions
- How does signal routing lock work?
- Video, audio, RS-232, IR, and USB sources can each be independently locked to a specific encoder on a decoder, allowing different sources for each signal type. For example, video can follow Encoder 001 while audio follows Encoder 002.
- How do I configure PIP Multiview?
- On the Video Wall page, create a 1x1 video wall as the multiview canvas. In Multiview, create a PIP preset, assign foreground and background sources, select target decoders, and click Apply. Up to 25 windows per display supported.
- What network switch is required for SDVoE?
- 10G managed switch with IGMP Snooping and Jumbo Frame support. SDVoE endpoints connect via 10G SFP+ or 10G RJ45 ports. The controller VIDEO LAN (1G) connects to the same 10G switch.
- How do I access the web GUI?
- Navigate to http://controller.local or 192.168.6.100 (no DHCP). Connect CONTROL LAN to IT LAN or PC. Default login: admin/admin. Set a new password (6–8 alphanumeric characters) on first login.
- SDVoE endpoints not discovered after setup?
- Verify VIDEO LAN is connected to the same 10G switch as all endpoints. Confirm IGMP Snooping and Jumbo Frames are enabled on the switch. Use Search Device Via Wizard to re-scan.
- How do I reset to factory defaults?
- Hold RESET button for approximately 10 seconds until STATUS LED flashes. Release — controller resets and reboots. All device lists, routing presets, matrix presets, multiview configs, and user accounts are cleared.
- Is the AVO-IPCTL-SDV required for SDVoE operation?
- No — point-to-point SDVoE unicast works without the controller. The controller is required for matrix switching, video wall configuration, multi-view, USB KVM routing, and centralized system management.
- What endpoints does AVO-IPCTL-SDV work with?
- Works with AVO-IPSDV-4K (HDN-EB100AT), the 4K60 4:4:4 SDVoE transceiver with AVP2000 chipset. AVO-IPSDV-4K can operate as encoder or decoder via front panel button or API.
- Can encoders and decoders switch modes?
- Yes — AVO-IPSDV-4K transceivers can operate as encoder or decoder. Mode can be changed from the Device page using the Switch to Encoder/Switch to Decoder button, or via the front panel button on the transceiver.
- Can I use a single network switch?
- Yes — connect all SDVoE endpoints, VIDEO LAN, and PC to a single switch. Leave CONTROL LAN floating. Note: CONTROL LAN connected while VIDEO LAN is floating is not supported.
